John has announced that the 38th University Motors Birthday party will be on January 26th, 2013 from Noon to 4 pm.  We’ll have food and drinks, and of  course a birthday cake!  Stop in and enjoy our new shop and the company of fellow enthusiasts!

Step one: Disconnect battery cables.

Step two: Remove battery

Step three: Install new battery

Step four: Remove protective covers from battery terminals.

Step five: Clean and reinstall battery cables.

We just had a car delivered to us on a trailer because the customer had just installed a new battery, and found that he had no power afterwards.

It’s true we haven’t put out a newsletter in a while.  Our shop has been extremely busy!  There are about 30 cars here – we look like a used car lot!  Anyway, John promises to get another newsletter out very soon!

Mr. McKee’s engine is on our stand and has been broken in.  It runs beautifully!

James sent us his gearbox and engine to be rebuilt.  Stay tuned because we’re going to break it in on the stand…

Yesterday Wayne and Forrest cut a very large hole in the wall.  This morning a professional plugged it back up!

We have a customer that has a Midget 1500 with a hole in the side of the block.  So we need a new engine!  Do you have one?  Give us a call!  616-301-2888
