Q & A: MGB LE Lug Nuts & Rack and Pinion Oil

I have a 1980 MGB. I need to replace the lug nuts on the wheels. I used a 15/16 socket to remove them is that the right size to order new ones? Also, I need to top off my steering wheel column and I can't find SAE 90 oil anywhere . Can I use W80/90 ? Thanks for any help!
You must have a black MGB LE as the common nut size is 1/2 fine with a socket size of 13/16. You can get new lug nuts for the LE wheels from Mossmotors.com. Use a multigrade oil 80/90 hypoid (rear axle oil) for the rack and pinion. Hope this hel... read more
