Q & A: Leaking Fuel Pump
Hey John, I haven't presented any problems lately but I now have one. Recently I had a fuel pump failure in my 80 MGB. Not the kind that a bang on the pump would reactivate but gas in the trunk. Don't know why me and the car aren't in orbit. Somehow, I guess, the diaphragm failed and allowed gas to flow in that direction but no one in this area has seen that before. Have you? Any guesses what may have happened? Any blockages anywhere?
