Q & A: Speedometer Wobble

Mr. Twist,
My 75 MGB speedo wobbles at low speeds and evens
out at higher speeds, although 10 mph too slow.
Any idea what may cause this?

A wobbly speedo is caused by a faulty speedo cable. You have two
cables in your car: 90 degree drive on the gearbox to the EGR counter; and
