My carbs have over run valves, can I change them to solid disks and will I have to cut a notch on bottom for the bypass idle ?
You have two options. Replace the discs and cut the very smallest slot you can - or - simple solder the existing overrun valves shut. In the second case, heat the thottle disc from the button side and flow flux and solder into the spring side. On... read more
